Your role and responsibilitiesSafety and Integrity: Ensure that all activities are conducted in accordance with the company's policies and procedures and comply with health, safety and integrity guidelines
Oversee material flow processes throughout and between the factories and to customers including receiving, shipping, warehousing, packaging, kitting, material handling, and finished goods distribution
Implement, develop, and maintain global and regional Trade & Logistics strategies, processes, and policies at the regional Business Area and global Division level
Drive transport, trade and logistics quality and cost improvements, establish and maintain governance structures at region level in line with global strategy, NEMA Motors Division and Motion business area
Optimize the freight budget and continuous improvement agenda. Analyze freight plans from a strategic perspective to ensure full transparency of cost/benefits relationships. Ensure budgetary requirements are met. Lead the regional transportation center of excellence and support other designated divisions as required
Collaboratively work with engineering and sales and marketing to standardize packaging across the division to maintain brand expectations while effectively protecting the product at expected cost levels
Develop and execute the strategy for finished goods warehousing and distribution, including network optimization
Collaboratively work with manufacturing and warehouse personnel to standardize warehousing and production parts presentation using efficient and effective processes
Lead coordinated efforts to optimize material stocks and flows using lean and six sigma techniques.
Support the Drives Product Division for transport planning and sourcing needs
