Hydro Global Business Services (GBS) is an organizational area that operates as an internal service provider for the Hydro group. Its ultimate purpose is to deliver relevant IT, financial and HR business services to all business areas within the company.

Job Summary

This position is for a Human Resource Intern in the Pittsburgh, PA location. This position reports to the Human Resource Operational Excellence Lead at the Moon Twp office. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing Human Resources and Receptionist related duties at a professional level.

Job Responsibilities
  • Assisting the HR Department with assorted duties to include making photocopies, creating binders, filing, scanning documents, and performing other clerical functions.
  • Files documents into appropriate files.
  • Assists or prepares correspondence as requested.
  • Processes mail.
  • Greet visitors and answer phones.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Looking for an individual that is looking to expand their HR knowledge to prepare them for their next step.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Required Education/Experience
  • Actively in the process of pursuing a bachelor's degree in Human Resources from an accredited university.
  • Must be highly motivated and comfortable working independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
