Mansfield Service Partners / Select Environmental is seeking a dedicated and skilled CDL Truck Driver to join our team in Houston, TX.

As a CDL Truck Driver for Mansfield's Select Environmental division you will be responsible for the removal and transport of oily water and various waste such as used oil filters and rags, anti-freeze, and oil to market or disposal sites. This driver will operate various equipment including, but not limited to: tractor/trailers, tankers and vac trucks, roll-off trucks, and stakebed units.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Removes Non-Hazardous Waste / Filters / Cubic Yard boxes/ Absorbents.
  • Safely drive truck to and from destination utilizing knowledge of DOT driving regulations.
  • Checks loads to ensure product is being hauled in a safe manner and that the tank hasn't leaked.
  • Verifies with the customer which services they need provided at site.
  • Strives to meet customer expectations without exception and achieve highly positive customer satisfaction.
  • Develops extensive working relationship with customers, in order to maximize opportunities and to ensure customer needs are addressed.
  • Keeps all equipment in great condition and in a state of readiness.
  • Maintains constant communication with the Branch to ensure job requirements haven't changed.
  • Tests all loads to ensure we aren't picking up any non-conforming loads.
  • Spots new service opportunity's and leads.
  • Must be capable of doing small repairs, change light bulbs.
  • Completes pre-trip and post -trip inspections on truck equipment, such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, fuel, oil and water.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Class A CDL required
  • X Endorsement required (combination Hazardous Material and Tanker)
  • One (1) to three (3) years of experience as a Class A CDL driver with a Tanker endorsement required
  • One (1) or more years of experience handling petroleum products and hazardous material or on an emergency response team preferred
  • Must be able to operate a 10 speed manual transmission; Cannot possess an automatic only restriction
  • Must be coachable and willing to learn how our pumps and tank farm works.
  • Must be able to drive long distances.
  • Job requires walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing to a significant degree.
  • Will require some weekend and emergency on call work.
