Work closely with the team to pack, band, and tag aluminum extrusions into bundles in a timely manner, to meet goals for the Pack-Load-Ship process. Fast-paced environment in both hot and cold conditions. Starting salary $18.00/hour plus $2.00/hour shift premium for night shift.
- Be able to navigate and understand the AS400 system
- Follow packing instructions according to unique customer specifications
- Lift and pack aluminum parts individually and with a partner
- Uses measurement tools and visual inspection to verify the quality of parts
- Finishes tasks in a timely manner to meet productivity goals
- Work closely with Packing team members and coordinate with other departments as needed
- Follows applicable Job Safety Analysis and Work Instructions
- Able to work set schedule for full 12 hour shift
- Ability to recognize risks & hazards
- General understanding of quality standards
- Basic computer application skills
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Basic mathematical skills
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
