In this role, you will direct the overall activities of the division by coordinating general immunization activities with other DOH programs and partners; directing operational procedures for all responsibilities of the division's immunization nurse operations, to ensure consistent program operations that comply with all requirements; and engage in ongoing evaluation of program activities based on federal guidance contained in the Immunization Program Operation Manual (IPOM). As a supervisor, you will train staff, assign, prioritize, and review work, maintain position descriptions, conduct employee performance management, approve or deny leave and travel requests, and coordinate employee discipline..
You may be given an assignment to support the department's public health emergency response mission. Emergency assignments could at times be received with little or no advance notice and continue for a period of time, and may be performed under adverse conditions and require travel to site other than your assigned headquarters.
