Job Description:

Lab Technician

Responsibilities include and are not limited to:

• Operate Spark optical emissions spectrometer

• Operate wdXRF spectrometer

• Compile, enter and review analytical data for product testing and release

• Perform titrations

• Analyze moisture and carbon dioxide using RC612

• Re-melt and prepare buttons

Qualifications:

• Associate degree in physical sciences or related field; or minimum of 4-years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree

General Duties

• Ability to work with minimal supervision

• Ability to read, understand and demonstrate proficiencies of SOPs, work instructions and specifications

• Forklift certification

• Basic use of Microsoft Office Products

• Ability to lift 60-pounds

• Light maintenance

• Painting

• Housekeeping

• Rework, retesting and re-analysis
