This is an entry level professional social service position. Caseworkers investigate complaints of child abuse and/or neglect; provide supportive and placement prevention services to families; maintain agency records; and prepare court services, placement of and responsibility for children placed outside their home environment. Caseworkers also participate in conferencing and teaming to help families plan their goals. The professional associations you make promote growth not only for the workers but for the people they service.
