As an Accountant 3, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing day-to-day accounting functions. Your responsibilities include supervising, training, and developing staff, ensuring accurate and timely processing of transactions in areas such as cash receipts, purchasing, cash disbursements, and member payroll and benefits. The position involves reviewing and implementing effective accounting systems, maintaining compliance with GAAP and GASB standards, and participating in legislative and regulatory reviews.
