Provides expertise in the formulation of systems scope and objectives. Maintains smooth operation of multi-user cloud computer systems, including coordination with network engineers.
• Monitors and manages system resources, including CPU usage, disk usage, and response times to maintain operating efficiency.
• Performs systems security administration functions, including creating user profiles and accounts.
• Other duties may include setting up administrator accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocating cloud based mass storage space.
• Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products. Makes recommendations to purchase cloud based hardware resources and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery.
• Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources. Works independently or as a member of a project team responsible for providing technical guidance.
• Devises and/or modifies procedures to solve technical problems related to cloud capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results.
• Configures, installs, maintains, and upgrades server applications and cloud resources.
• Evaluates, tests, recommends, coordinates, monitors, and maintains information systems (IS) and cyber security policies, procedures, and systems, including access management.

• Requires 3 years with BS/BA; 1 years with MS/MA; 7 years with no degree
• Requires a TS/SCI with Polygraph
