Position Summary

We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst - FP&A to provide financial analysis, modeling and planning & forecasting for our Senior Leadership Team and Board of Directors. This position will analyze, communicate, identify, and advise management on the key metrics and drivers of our business. S/he will create ad hoc financial models and schedules, sourcing data from multiple systems, support the financial planning activities, and provide clear understanding and insight for all planning activities including strategic plans, budget, and forecasts.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Participate in the financial development of annual plans and forecasting during the year.
  • Support the Vice President - FP&A with various recurring and ad hoc analysis to assist the business in decision making.
  • Support the Board of Directors with standard reporting and analysis on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Partner with functional leadership and support functional expense annual planning, reporting, and creation/implementation of cost efficiencies.
  • Partner with the Treasury function to analyze and drive Working Capital opportunities.
  • Use deep understanding of objectives, issues, and root cause analysis to provide insightful, fact-based data analysis to help solve complex problems. Provide financial and strategic decision support to senior leadership to ensure achievement of short- and long-term financial goals.
  • Assist management in understanding the business dynamics that impact the financial position of the Company by developing financial models and creating and monitoring leading indicators and business statistics.
  • Partner with business leadership to develop strategies and initiatives to drive growth and margin improvements. Execute strategic initiatives such as location strategy and process improvement efforts.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or equivalent training required.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in corporate finance or FP&A.
  • CPA, CFA or other professional credentials preferred.
  • Experience with SAP preferred.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and other desktop skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong analytical and statistical skills.
  • Strong communication skills both verbally and in writing independently.
  • Strong ability to drive change in a status quo environment.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Customer service oriented, recognizing the importance of high-quality customer service.
