Requirements

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities, include the following, other duties may be assigned

  • Knowledge of all product lines that the company stores and distributes, and understands the applications for those parts.
  • Knowledge of all other areas and duties of all other positions in the Parts Department.
  • Administrator of customer accounts
  • Skills to promote and sell products
  • Provide the highest level of customer service to our internal and external partners.
  • Request quotes from vendors.
  • Prepare and submit offers.
  • Generate purchase orders and submit orders to vendors.
  • Expedite parts as necessary.
  • Review open orders.
  • Has a working relationship with suppliers
  • Seeks management guidance regarding compliance.
  • Assist the sales team with offer submissions.
  • Initiate customer contact to promote product sales and customer relations.
  • Maintains database integrity and associated documentation.
  • Ability to track and communicate key issues and status of orders.
  • Prepares and maintains all records and documents required for the duties being performed; knowledgeable of all company policies and procedures relating to parts transactions.
  • Must maintain factory training requirements.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • HS diploma, 2 years of equivalent experience
  • Excellent product knowledge, good administrative skills and inventory management experience are important.
  • Demonstrable customer service skills including two years previous parts department experience, which will consist of inside parts selling.
  • Excellent telephone skills
  • Previous Paragon software experience
  • AS400 software experience
  • Excellent customer service skills
