Job Summary

This person will be responsible for the performance optimization for a fixed number of assets to exceed budget requirements and to drive best in class performance. Activities include responding to known deficiencies, responding to current issues and proactively identifying and resolving performance gaps. Directly influences cost of up to $20 MM for the plants assigned. This person is also directly responsible for minimizing power spending and optimizing production output.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Performance Optimization
  • Coordinating the production/Ops Plan for multiple facilities
  • Establishing the best possible power management plan with logistics and energy services
  • Downtime / loss producing event review
  • Drive resolution of reactive issues with focus areas / site
  • Drive pro-active plant health monitoring
  • Drive pro-active safety, reliability and efficiency improvement plan with focus areas

Key Interface Detail - Internal / External

  • Single point of contact for multiple facilities

  • Coordinate activities for those facilities with the local staff, engineering focus areas, logistics, and energy services

Education/ Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in a suitable engineering discipline

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a process plant-related operations or engineering role, or six months to one year in a directly-related role at the remote operations center, or graduate of the Messer Graduate Development Program.
