We seek a PMHNP to join our NEW! Behavioral Health Urgent Care (BHUCC) team in Philadelphia, Pa.

We are a mental health urgent care/walk-in center for adults in need of same-day care that is not an emergency in Philadelphia. We serve individuals experiencing emotional distress, mental health concerns, and/or substance use concerns. Individuals will participate in triage, resolution-focused services, and aftercare planning to prepare for long-term recovery and connection to ongoing care. We serve individuals regardless of income or insurance status. Our services do not replace the need for ongoing mental health care; rather, we aim to reduce avoidable visits to crisis centers and emergency rooms by helping people get the care they need when they need it.

The PMHNP:

• Provides comprehensive psychiatric and behavioral health urgent care services to individuals.
• Works under the supervision of the psychiatrist.
• Conduct evaluations, provide clinical interventions, and works within the multidisciplinary BHUCC team to deliver coordinated, quality care.
• Supervise LPN nurses.

Earn $145,000 / year.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, PMHNP with prescriptive authority.
• Experience with integrated health preferred.
• Experience in crisis intervention, urgent care, or emergency psychiatric settings is preferred.
• Licensed in State of Pennsylvania.
• Valid Child Abuse, State Criminal and FBI Fingerprint clearances.
• Master's degree in nursing with a focus on psychiatric-mental health.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients and colleagues.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and healthcare technology.
• Leadership skills to supervise and support LPN(s).
• Must be able to work Monday-Friday: 10:30AM-7PM and alternating weekends.
