In this position, you will lead the development and implementation of the Home Efficiency Rebate Program and associated Contractor Training Grant Program, authorized by the federal Inflation Reduction Act. Your duties will involve developing and maintaining the rebate program's rules, guidelines, and reporting requirements via collaborating with partners both internal and external to the Commonwealth.
You will work with contractors and their subcontractors to implement and promote both programs throughout the Commonwealth. Additionally, you will conduct this work consistent with the Department of Environmental Protection and United States Department of Energy strategic goals and funding requirements, including those related to Justice 40 and workforce development. Specific technologies and practices deployed with these funds will include whole-home energy retrofit measures, such as insulation, air sealing, HVAC upgrades, as well as energy audits, modeling, and verification.
