Your role entails performing wildland fire duties like monitoring, reacting to, and putting out wildfires within a specific zone. You could be part of a group of wildland firefighters during emergencies and handle fire apparatus. Your tasks consist of securely surveying the area for fires and risks, along with aiding in maintaining equipment, prevention campaigns, community engagement, and training sessions. You will be given daily tasks, guidance, and oversight by a superior at the location, with your performance assessed through submitted reports.
