Our Garden Distribution division is searching for a Warehouse Lead at our warehouse/distribution facility in Easton, PA.We are seeking an enthusiastic and outgoing self-starter to learn our Garden products and manage daily warehouse functions, including shipping/receiving, order entry, and customer service. This position requires qualified candidates to be safety conscious and able to perform required functions in a productive manner, working with tight schedules and deadlines.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage daily workload to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Complete weekly/monthly safety inspections.
  • Responsible for being the backup for the shipping/inventory manager when needed (i.e., meetings, vacation, etc.)
  • Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy and make necessary adjustments in SAP.
  • Work in customers TMS systems to route orders.
  • Help maintain a clean and safe workplace for all employees.
  • Follow and implement required safety procedures. Assist in training and keeping all employees trained and up to date on company standards.
  • Facilitate the production of custom seed blending.
  • Oversee warehouse cleanliness standards.
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/EDUCATION
  • 3+ years warehouse supervisor experience
  • Associate degree is a plus.
  • Must be familiar with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point
  • Must be willing to learn SAP software program functions. Previous SAP experience is a plus.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT
  • Combination of office and warehouse environment
  • Manual labor required in position (i.e., lifting up to 50 lb bag materials or pottery products)
  • Use of industrial equipment (i.e., forklift)
  • Fast paced working environment. Need the ability to pivot between tasks efficiently.
  • Some overtime required.
