Summary:

In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact between customers and suppliers, building and maintaining strong relationships. You will leverage your expertise in consulting, sales, supplier relations, negotiations, and account management to drive business growth. Your versatile approach and strategic thinking will deliver tailored solutions, meeting customers' unique needs and ensuring success across multiple sectors.

Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate and nurture relationships with key suppliers within the Indirect Spend market sector.

  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to develop customized solutions tailored to meet customer objectives.

  • Negotiate favorable terms, pricing and contractual agreements between customers and suppliers to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.

  • Provide strategic guidance and innovative solutions to address customer needs and optimize their operations.

  • Present and communicate the value proposition of business solutions, addressing customer requirements and pain points effectively.

  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling additional services and contracts to customers.

  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and effectively.

  • Coordinate with internal and external teams to implement and deliver integrated solutions on time, ensuring seamless collaboration, adherence to timelines, and the successful execution of desired outcomes.

  • Monitor progress regularly, identifying potential bottlenecks, assessing key performance indicators, and proactively addressing any challenges to ensure the timely and successful completion of expected outcomes.

  • Provide regular updates to customers highlighting progress and outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred.

  • 5 or more years of relevant experience required.

  • Consulting, sales and account management experience within the non-acute healthcare market is preferred.

  • Contract negotiation experience in purchased services or indirect spend is preferred.

  • Knowledge of group purchasing organizations is preferred.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to think strategically and creatively to solve complex business challenges.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze and interpret data, identify opportunities, develop actionable insights, and proficiently manage projects with a results-oriented mindset.

  • Willingness to travel.

Estimated Hiring Range:

$88,900.00 - $132,250.00
