DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Clinical Dietitian, you coordinate, inspect, and evaluate the therapeutic diet program while maintaining adherence to HIPAA standards. You are responsible for ensuring optimal nutritional status of residents by planning, implementing, and evaluating nutritional interventions. You are also responsible for completion of initial, annual, and significant change nutritional assessments for residents. In addition, you write nutritional care plans and make dietetic recommendations for implementation consistent with physician's orders and dietetic needs.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment, 37.5-hour work week
  • Work hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS
Special Requirement:

  • Certification as a Registered Dietitian as defined by the Commission on Registration of the American Dietetic Association; or proof of eligibility for such certification.

Other Requirements:

  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Legal Requirements:
  • A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
  • This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
    • Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
