About this role

As an Adult Psychiatrist you will provide face-to-face direct service, including: initial psychiatric evaluations, medication prescription and monitoring, and crisis and/or emergency evaluations. Providing medical oversight services to program administration and staff, including: certification of appropriateness of admission of all clients into the program; acts as leader of multi-disciplinary treatment team; attends clinical care meetings; supervises the development and implementation of the treatment plan maintain compliance with the requirements of state and federal regulations and Council on Accreditation (COA) standards.

Does the following apply to you?

• Active license to practice medicine in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as issued by the State Board of Medical Education and Licensure of the State Board of Osteopathic Examiners
• Minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience in the care and treatment of mentally ill patients; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Knowledge of CASSP and CSP principles
• Valid PA license to practice medicine
• Current DEA Controlled Substance license
• Satisfactory results of required pre-employment and subsequent background checks in accordance with PA State and Federal Law
