Data Integration Specialist, Full-Time, Forks, PA

GENERAL SUMMARY:

This position is a technical role that has the responsibility for designing and developing data integration solutions in support of our data warehouse environment and inter-system interfaces. The individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and implement data integration solution to best satisfy the requirements.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure seamless data integration from various sources into our data warehouse using Informatica IDMC
  • Ensure data quality and accuracy by implementing validation checks and error handling mechanisms.
  • Understand and perform basic DBA functions in Snowflake and MS SQLServer
  • Strong familiarity with SAP and SAP data in a manufacturing setting.
  • Design and develop the ETL process, including data analysis and testing.
  • Design and develop the information access and delivery effort for the data warehouse.
  • Participate in the design and development of the data warehouse, as well as creation of user and SOP documentation.
  • Monitor system performance, implement changes to optimize performance.
  • Experience with IDMC Catalog and Data Governance a plus.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems field with 5+ years of work experience.
  • Strong technical skills with Informatica ICDM including but not limited to
    • Flat file Source and Target transformations, Expression transformations, Lookup transformations, Filter transformations, Joiner transformations, Router transformations.
    • Intelligent Structure Model
    • Java transformations
    • Source Control experience
    • MS PowerShell scripting
    • SQL Server, Oracle, Snowflake database connections
    • Cloud Application Integration
    • Cloud B2B
    • Cloud Mass Ingestion
    • SAP HANA connector
    • Google Analytics connector
    • REST V2/V3 connector
  • Understand and perform basic Snowflake DBA functionality including but not limited to
    • Stored Procedures,
    • JavaScript
    • User Defined Functions
    • Stages
    • Data Pipelines
    • Strong data modeling skills (normalized and multidimensional).
  • Understanding of business data and its various sources including but not limited to SAP, both ECC and S4/Hana
  • Understanding of database technologies and data warehouse methodologies.
  • Strong business and communication skills.
  • Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language.
  • Maintain a high level of customer service to both internal and external clients.
  • Must exhibit a proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must have excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
  • High initiative and ability to prioritize in a high-pressure environment.
  • Must be able to work on simultaneous projects.

PHYSICAL CONDITIONS:

This position requires the candidate to be on-site in the Forks offices a minimum of 2 days per week.
