Gannett Fleming is searching for an experienced and charasmatic Track Design Manager you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and leading the design, planning, and execution of various rail transit and heavy freight guideway projects throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. In this capacity you will analyze projects, establishdesign criteria, and execute designs. You will lead or participates in large transit, intercity, and freight rail systems projects by managing the track alignment design and associated civil portions of the scope of work. You will also provide direct oversight of team dispursed across the Mid-Atlantic region. You will take an active role in the management of multi-disciplined projects and serve as the primary interface with clients. Gannett Fleming will support your engagement a local level in leadership of professional societies such as AREMA, APTA, WTS and ACEC.
Successful candidates must have knowledge and experience in track maintenance and asset management, track form systems, railroad/transit planning, and conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design of rail transit and heavy freight guideways.
