Job Description Summary

Function as a part of a flexible and versatile group in order to provide work where needed, as needed.

Job Description

  • Follows safe operating procedures
  • Maintain 5S standards
  • Performs TPM activities as required
  • Review and follows quality, process and operator instructions
  • Perform quality checks as required and accurately records using Plex or required method
  • Identifies, contains and generates Discrepant Material Report (DMR) in Plex for any non-conforming material and forwards to the Material Review Board (MRB)
  • Communicated with co-workers from the previous and following shifts to discuss problems and concerns
  • Insures operation runs at required production rate. Notifies Team Leader or equivalent when this does not occur.
  • Accurately reports production and scrap using Plex or required method
  • Actively participates in continuous improvement activities.
  • Data reporting such as production and scrap as required
  • Moves product by using barrels with a barrel cart or totes which my weigh up to 40 pounds
  • May be required to work in a variety of jobs. This position rotates among jobs on a routine basis
  • Complete other tasks within job classification as assigned
  • 15. Assist other employees as directed by the Team Leader and/or Supervisor
  • 16. Knowledgeable of MAI duties and responsibilities.

Required Skills and Education

Education:

High School Diploma or GED

Experience:

  • Know what it takes to have a safe workplace
  • IS0 9001 & IATF 16949 Quality System Requirements
  • ISO-14001 Environmental Management System
  • Problem Solving
  • ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • May be requested to obtain fork truck certification
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrates ability to act with limited direction.
  • Strong listening and communication skills.

  • Refractometer
  • Hyster (forklift)
  • Hardness Tester
