Located in Lititz, PA and Lancaster, PA, we are currently accepting applications for a Test Technician II - 3rd Shift at our Lititz facility. Please review all of the below information and if you are qualified and interested apply today!

Position Summary:
Test, troubleshoot, repair and modify developmental and production electronic components, parts, equipment, and systems, such as computer equipment, and test equipment, applying principles and theories of electronics, electronic circuitry, and electronic systems testing.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Test electronic units, using standard test equipment, and analyze results to evaluate performance and determine need for adjustment.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and calibration of equipment and systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment and determine when and what kind of maintenance is needed.
  • Read blue prints, wiring diagrams, schematic drawings, and engineering instructions for assembling electronic units, applying knowledge of electronics theory and components.
  • Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions, working independently or with engineers.
  • Identify complex problems and evaluate options to implement a solution.
  • Maintain system logs and manuals to document testing and operation of equipment.
  • Assemble, test, and maintain test equipment or electronic systems according to engineering instructions.
  • Maintain inventory of test equipment, related documentation, and location of equipment.
  • Maintain working knowledge of test equipment, tools or software by attending workshops or other training.
  • Watch gauges, dials, and other indicators to make sure machines, environmental chambers, and electronic equipment is working properly.
  • Determine the type of tools and equipment needed to perform a specific job.
  • Ability to troubleshoot failures to component level.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment.
  • Performs other duties as assigned to meet departmental and organizational requirements.
Essential Skills and Experience:
  • Knowledge and ability to use a wide variety of hand tools, measuring devices, lab standards, and test equipment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Windows.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills with attention to details.
  • Capable of multi-tasking and handling constant changes in priorities.
  • Knowledgeable in electronics and computer equipment, testing and processing, and troubleshooting circuit components.
  • Knowledge of incoming test requirements, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effectiveness of the testing process.
Qualifications:
  • An associate’s degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering or military training.
  • 3+ years of related work experience.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds without assistance, work in confined areas, and crouch or stand for extended periods of time while obtaining measurements.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate test systems, test equipment, computer systems and trouble shoot.
  • Demonstrated ability utilizing test software and platforms.
Work Environment:
  • Production Environment
  • 9/80 Sunday through Wednesday 10:30 PM - 8:00 AM and every other Thursday 10:30 PM - 7:00 AM.  Additional hours as needed.
