About the Position

The Lot Service Attendant maintains and fuels all vehicles, activities, in conjunction with First Transit's Maintenance Department: dispenses fuel, checks oil, maintains accurate stick and meter readings, stocks required supplies and equipment, and coordinates the flow of vehicles to ensure safe operation. Performs light maintenance as necessary to vehicles, buildings, and grounds.

  • Perform minor vehicle repairs.
  • Jumpstart vehicles.
  • Recognize and report vehicle issues.
  • Balance and rotate tires.
  • Check the air pressure of tires.
  • Check fluid levels and top off as needed.
  • Clean building facility and the interiors and exteriors of vehicles as needed.

Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license
    • Must be currently licensed in Pennsylvania at the time of application.
  • Automotive vocational training or 1 - 2 years of hands-on shop/lube experience
  • Vehicle fueling, cleaning and detailing experience a plus
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Basic problem-solving ability
  • Subject to a drug screen
