ABOUT THE JOB

We are looking for an entry level architect to work closely with the in-house design, leasing, and construction teams. You will be responsible for creating the materials necessary for the design, leasing, permitting, and construction of spaces with in-house and third-party teams. The work includes site analysis, leasing feasibility studies and test-fits, BOMA analysis, tenant improvement proposals, design development, product specification and procurement, construction detailing and vendor management. Our projects range from design and building common area improvements to overseeing large scale developments and we work closely with the Asset Management, Property Management, Leasing, and Acquisitions teams to do so.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on designer who is energized by seeing projects from conception through completion. As the architect becomes more familiar with R2 and our process, they will have the opportunity to grow into and manage larger and more complex projects.

REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLICANT

The ideal candidate is highly organized, demonstrates initiative, is an excellent problem solver, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. They have strong written and verbal communications skills and is a team player who is comfortable working in a collaborative approach with design and construction teams.

O Professional degree with 1-5 years' experience. Commercial experience is preferred.

O Proficiency in Revit with working knowledge of Sketch-up, AutoCad, and Adobe Creative Suite. Rendering experience is a plus.

O Strong planning and design skills for the layout of commercial spaces.

O Strong technical understanding of buildings, their systems, and MEP coordination.

O Experience with developing and interpreting construction drawings.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $45,199.00 - $85,000.00 per year
